Placement Remarks
Your rate of pay is $5.50 hourly plus tips as a server; The 1st rotation of 6 months will primarily be Pool Server with occasional shifts in other areas.
It is customary in the US to work in “gratuity” positions. In these positions, you will receive a base hourly salary plus gratuity (tips). While the amount of a gratuity is ultimately at the discretion of the guest, the customary tip is 15-20% of the total bill before tax. Based on history, you may expect to earn around $15.00 per hour as a Pool Server, $17.56 per hour as a Restaurant server. As a Host your rate of pay is $10.00 per hour. As a Barista your rate of pay is $9.50, no tips.

- Stipend: $5.50 hourly plus tips
- Requirements: Most important is English and prior F&B experience. Client prefers prior Luxury hotel experience but not as important as the above info.
- Benefits:
- It is up to the J1 to find their own housing upon your arrival to New Orleans.
- Paid Time Off (PTO) is accrued on first day but you can't use these days until the 91st day of employment. You will accrue 5.67 hours per 80 hours worked.
- The hotel does provide 1 free meal per shift which is in our employee cafeteria.
- The hotel will provide a uniform for our employees at no charge and the uniform is cleaned free of charge. You will be fitted for your uniforms on their first day and tailored if needed.
- The hotel is on a bi-weekly paid period schedule
