Having studied at FUA in two non-consecutive semesters, I've had the privilege of watching the institution grow as I grew with it.
I studied at FUA in Spring 2010 and Spring 2012, during which I became familiar with Italian language, culture, and art history, my major field of study at Stony Brook University. I also had the opportunity to write on contemporary art and FUA life in Blending, i.OVO, and Flo'N the Go as a volunteer writer and copy editor at Palazzi Communications and Publishing.
After graduating in May 2012, I served as a resident assistant in FUA's Summer High School Program with thirteen amazing high schoolers from around the world. It's impossible for me to say which of my individual experiences at FUA was my favorite, but I know that each of them has helped me grow personally, academically, and professionally, and that Florence hasn't yet seen the last of me.
