After a semester at FUA, although I did not look for a job, I was equip with new knowledge that would of given me the advantage of other students or experienced persons. Not only did studying abroad at FUA made me a better person, it enlighten me in global understanding and gave me new cross-culture skills that I wouldn’t have acquired in any American classroom. It takes more than reading books and listening to your teacher speak about how things work.
You have to go out there and experience it for yourself!! You really do learn how to interact with diverse populations once to travel abroad and learn a bit about different cultures. Again, this is something that cannot be learned to the fullest extent out of a book. At FUA, not only do you get to experience a new way of learning, you also get to experience the great history of the Renaissance first hand. Pictures out of a book do no justice as to being able to physically see Michael Angelo’s David or the Sistine Chapel.
Going to Florence, Italy has been one of the best experiences of my life, and without FUA and its fantastic employees, I know for a fact that the experience wouldn’t have been the same.
Thank again to FUA and all of its employees for making this the best experience of my life.
