Currently, I am working a couple of jobs, one of which is still in the study abroad industry! The first company is called NiceGrade. This company is a tutoring service based in Fort Collins, CO and I am their Director of Marketing. I implement marketing strategies, online and direct, as well as help out with a lot of the administrative tasks. The other job is with GoAbroad.com, a company that helps students find the right study/intern/volunteer/teach abroad program. Within GoAbroad, I work for GoSocial, where I am in charge of multiple clients. I create, schedule and run their social media marketing, online marketing, and marketing analytics. Along with all of this, I am in the process of starting my own business, and going to school full time.
My experience at FUA was phenomenal! My teachers were intelligent and challenged us to really think outside of the "American" perspective. Learning about different cultures and living in one, enhanced my learning experience tenfold! After returning home, I realized that I have gained such great knowledge that a lot of my peers do not have, and I can share a different perspective to them as well as my classmates and professors.
This experience abroad has greatly influenced the way I think and speak, and I truly believe I have become a better person because of it.
