Job Description:
Company specialized in the top-segment of the furniture sector is searching for a: Commercial Manager – Sole Agent for U.S.A. / Canada
The candidate will report to the Export Sales Manager and, after an initial period of training of a few months, will have to take care of the commercial activities, enhance and develop the sales network, the retailers in all the commercial aspects (from order-intake to after-sales management), in addition to promote and inform all the professionals in the sector.
A dialogue with the internal technical team on the commercial requirements is necessary, as well as frequent travels on the assigned territory in order to liaise with clients and be present during the Exhibitions in the sector (80% of work-time will be spent on the assigned territory, to constantly support the sales network and the branch operators: Architects, Interior Designers and Developers).
Company meetings and trainings during the year need to be attended at the Italian Headquarters ( minimum 5 times per year ).
The candidate will necessarily be aware of the company targets and group policies and reach the sales targets in the assigned area, promote preliminary contacts to potential clients, develop sales negotiations, submit offers, quotations and contracts, stipulate the best sales conditions.
A contract of Sole Agent is offered.

The candidate will also monitor the referenced markets in order to acquire information on competitors, market trends and opportunities, liaising with the other company functions, organizing visits and meetings with dealers and professionals during the international Trade Shows, as well as training courses at the company showroom, reporting on a weekly basis to the export commercial direction the ongoing results in the referenced areas of activity.
Key-assets to the role are excellent interpersonal skills, dynamism, pro-activity, commercial expertise and a high commitment to reaching targets.
At least 3 years of experience in an equivalent sector are fundamental.
The company requires furthermore an impeccable knowledge of the MS Office portfolio (in particular Excel and Word) and Email.
The profile will speak and write an excellent French, as well as a perfect English.
