 About the position: 

We are looking for an Academic Coordinator and Student Services for our campus in Istanbul. This is your chance to work with talented students and join a motivated and international team of instructors and staff on our campus in the heart of Istanbul.

Your main mission will be to work on academic and administrative tasks related to Undergraduate, Postgraduate and part time courses. The main focus will be to provide smooth operations for lecturers and students in line with the academic standard operating procedures.

Our Istanbul Campus is located at Nisantasi University Neo-Tech Campus, Instanbul.

 

The ideal candidate:

  • Academic Tasks:

    • Manage and ensure timely follow-up with lecturers about the teaching material their submissions (syllabi, teaching materials, case studies, assignments and grades)
    • Follow up delivery of course materials from lecturers on time (Syllabus / PPTs…) and its validation by the managing academic director for UG and by Managing Director for PG.
    • Coordinate lecturers’ observations and lecturers’ self-evaluation questionnaires with academic director.
    • Prepare yearly calendars
    • Coordinate the lecturers’ allocation on a yearly and quarterly basis with the academic director
    • Manage relationship and allocation of the classroom in good harmony with the university
    • Hold one meeting by terms with all the lecturers
    • Prepare the file orderly the lecturers contract in attachment with their CV
    • Hold weekly operational meeting the managing director
    • Give necessary support to the LMS expert

    Student Services Tasks:

    • Work on administrative and operation tasks relative to students for Postgraduate (PG), Part-Time (PT) and Undergraduate Fashion design courses in Istanbul
    • Communicate and support local and foreign students and coordination with other campuses
    • Collect paperwork and prepare applications of visas for foreign students
    • Preparation of student certificates, grades for transcripts and other documentation 
    • Inform and remind the students of school matters, events; academic and department decisions
    • Work on admission letters, payment receipts, retake fees or other student related fees
    • Organize a class representative meeting every mid Term to understand the issues and act on them
    • Respond and handle student’s requests and answering questions
    • Notify students of course/module surveys; and attend student committee meetings
    • Send by courier payment slips & expenses reports to our accounting on month ends
    • Contact with suppliers for office collaterals and furniture
    • Arrangements for student activities and events (welcome, orientation, and farewell)
