Requirements
The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing the entire culinary operation and upholding RAW MKT’s standard of excellence. The Chef will consistently source top quality product and maintain strong relationships with local vendors. Strong business acumen and working knowledge of duties and financials (P&L, Food Cost, Labor etc.) is mandatory.
The ideal candidate is a professional, hardworking and organized individual with an energetic spirit and solid culinary pedigree. He or she should be an inspirational leader and possess a genuine passion to build a strong team and to motivate and develop others. Great interpersonal and customer relationship skills a must. While creative, the Executive Chef must also be open to collaboration towards a unique menu that utilizes fresh seafood and high-quality product.
The Executive Chef must have exposure to Asian cuisines and; most importantly, an in-depth knowledge and understanding of Sushi and Seafood paired with superior fish cutting skills. A background working and managing in high-volume, chef-driven restaurants is strongly preferred. Previous experience in the fast-casual sector and with new store openings also a plus.
