The Riddler is an exciting new Champagne bar opening in Hayes Valley. The opening team is bringing a collective wealth of knowledge and experience to the small neighborhood bar and is looking to add members to the kitchen. The kitchen will serve simple, yet playful and approachable food.
We are hiring a kitchen manager to take the lead. The ideal candidate for a kitchen manager would have 4 years cooking experience and has either held management roles before or is ready to take the next step in their career and learn management responsibilities with room to grow.
Responsibilities:
Product Sourcing & Ordering
Invoice Tracking & Recipe Costing
Daily Intake, Quality Control, and Storage
Prep & Station Set Up
Cooking & Plating
Nightly Ordering & Weekly Building Orders
Because The Riddler is poised to be a very fun Champagne bar with an open kitchen, we also want candidates to have a great sense of hospitality, and an overall welcoming and warm personality. The small bar next to the kitchen offers an opportunity to interact with the guests, and share knowledge about our food program.
