Placement Description:
Donald and Nancy Panoz are the visionaries and founders of Château Élan Winery and Resort in the foothills of the North Georgia Mountains in Braselton, Ga., USA. The luxurious resort is the first winery of its kind in the region since Prohibition. With numerous expansions over the past 14 years, Château Élan is now an award-winning winery and resort with an inn, conference center, four golf courses, eight restaurants, European-style health spa, residential community, wine market, equestrian show center and tennis center.
We have a thriving program, which seeks to employ international students from accredited hospitality schools around the world. Accepted interns would work with the resort after securing a J1 Visa; internships are full-time, paid, and allow for students to experience a diverse rang of opportunities present on the property.
Internship program details:
Positions available: Intern opportunities are typically entry-level in our Operations. For example, we offer rotations in front office, house-keeping, banquets, culinary, food&beverage, winery operations and more.
Hours: 32 - 40 hours / week
Pay: $9.50 / hour or tipped wages in a tipping position.
Length: Typically internships last 12 months, however we do also offer summer internships.
Deadlines: Interns can apply in the Fall, Spring or Summer, as there are no deadlines to submit the resume/application.
Location: 45 minutes from downtown Atlanta and 55 minutes from the Hartsfield-Jackson airport
